Beginning his career at age 15, Daniel Yount has broken into the music industry with tremendous force. He immediately set up his own company, AudioGrave, in which he released his debut album “From Darkness” (2010). Shortly after, he was hired by the LittleBIGPodcast to write several songs which were later compiled into an album for their web show. Daniel continued to grown AudioGrave’s library by releasing his second and third albums “Forces of Fate” (2011) and “Sanctum” (2011).
Daniel’s musical works caught the eye of Lewis Brindley and Simon Lane of the Yogscast, and he began working with them on their hit web series “Shadow of Israphel”. “The Yogscast - Shadow Of Israphel Soundtrack” (2011) was released a few months later.
Daniel’s popularity and fan base grew as he ventured into yet another web series, Bashcraft’s the Legend of Hobo. This project began a venture into uncharted waters for Daniel. He began to score, music to picture, for the individual episodes of the Legend of Hobo, starting with their fourth episode. He also began to score previous Yogscast episodes starting with their very first video of the series.
Aside from the large projects Daniel has had the privilege to work on, he has individually written dozens of custom tracks for use around the web and even tracks for video games. He also released a fourth album to AudioGrave’s library “Conviction” (2011).
The response to Daniel’s songs and scores have been overwhelmingly positive and he looks to grow his career towards film/tv/videogame/ scoring. In late 2011 the Yogscast decided to officially represent Daniel’s music merging his own AudioGrave with the Yogscast.
At 16, Daniel has been writing music for a little over a year now. He currently attends North Lincoln High School as a junior and is looking forward to moving to Boston after he graduates to study film scoring at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. From there he plans to move to L.A. California and work at scoring films.
